Repudiamos y rechazamos el asesinato de Cristian Andrés y Luis Eduardo

SINALTRAINAL lamenta los hechos ocurridos en la noche del miércoles 23 de mayo de 2018, en el municipio de Andalucía (Valle), donde sicarios asesinan a dos  de nuestros compañeros: Cristian Andrés Lozano y Luis Eduardo Domínguez, en hechos que son materia de investigación por las autoridades competentes. 

SINALTRAINAL REPUDIA y RECHAZA estos actos de barbarie contra compañeros que todos los días se levantan a trabajar y que son ejemplo para la comunidad y el entorno en el que se desenvuelven, que son reconocidos como personas de trato cordial y gozaban del aprecio de sus vecinos, familiares y amigos. 

EXIGIMOS a la transnacional NESTLÉ que se pronuncié enérgicamente frente a lo que sucede con sus trabajadores y  lleve a cabo acciones ante las autoridades de ambos municipios para que de manera inmediata se frene esta oleada de violencia y asesinatos que se están perpetrando de manera constante en los últimos días contra trabajadores de la multinacional; de igual forma, que se investigue y esclarezcan estos lamentables hechos y se condenen a los autores materiales e intelectuales de los mismos. 

Vemos con mucha preocupación como el temor y la incertidumbre se apodera  de todos los trabajadores frente a lo acontecido en los últimos días y el poco avance por parte de las autoridades frente al esclarecimiento de los mismos. 

Invitamos a todos los trabajadores a rodear a los familiares de nuestros compañeros en estos difíciles momentos; como organización les brindamos toda nuestra solidaridad y estaremos atentos para ayudarlos en lo que requieran. 

El día de hoy suspendimos la agenda de negociación para hacer las denuncias pertinentes ante las autoridades competentes, exigiendo se aclaren los hechos y las muertes de nuestros compañeros no queden impunes. 

A los trabajadores nuestra voz de aliento para seguir enfrentando el conflicto colectivo,  recordando que la unidad hace la fuerza; hacemos un llamado como organización a conservar la calma frente a estos lamentables sucesos y les comunicamos que SINALTRAINAL ha activado su protocolo de seguridad que consiste en denunciar ante las diferentes instancias del Estado colombiano lo acontecido a nuestros compañeros y la compleja situación de seguridad que vivimos en la actualidad los trabajadores de Nestlé.

Nestlé: We repudiate and condemn the assassination of Cristian Andres and Luis Eduardo

Sinaltrainal laments the events that occurred on the night of Wednesday 23^rd of May 2018, in the municipality of Andalucia (in Valle province), where gunmen assassinated two of our companions: Cristian Andres Lozano and Luis Eduardo Dominguez, in circumstances that are being investigated by the competent authorities.

Sinaltrainal repudiates and condemns these barbarous acts against companions that went to work every day and were valued for the positive example they set in the community. They were widely recognized as cordial and productive members of the community and enjoyed the esteem of their neighbours, relatives and friends.

We demand that the transnational Nestlé energetically pronounce itself against what is happening to its employees and initiate actions before the relevant authorities demanding that there be an immediate stop to the wave of violence and assassinations that have been perpetrated over the last few weeks; moreover, that these lamentable acts are investigated and clarified as a matter of utmost urgency and the material and intellectual authors identified and prosecuted.

We see with great consternation how the fear and uncertainty is consuming all of Nestlé’s employees following what has happened and the failure of the authorities to make progress in clarifying who is responsible and the motives for the attacks.

We invite all of the workers to support the families of our companions in these difficult times; as an organization we offer our unconditional solidarity and we are ready to assist in any way we can.

As of today we have suspended the agenda of negotiations in order to dedicate all our efforts to making the pertinent notifications and denunciations to the competent authorities, demanding that they do everything possible to clarify the facts so that the deaths of our companions do not remain in impunity for the assassins and their patrons and benefactors.

To our fellow workers we offer encouragement to continue confronting the conflict collectively, remembering that unity is strength; as an organization we call for everyone to maintain their composure and we assure you that Sinaltrainal has activated its security protocol which consists of denouncing what is occurring and the complex security situation that Nestlé employees are facing to all relevant State agencies and officials.
